  • Saira Khan has followed in the footsteps of fellow Loose Women panellist Stacey Solomon and posted a photo of herself in a bikini to promote body positivity.

The 47-year-old star was reportedly on the last day of her holiday in Italy, soaking up the sun in Lake Garda, with her husband Steve Hyde and their children Zacgariah and Amara.

Taking to Instagram the brunette mum-of-two shared the stunning snap with her 15.1k followers, along with the hashtags #psoriasis #wobblybits and #stretchmarks.

Stood against a white wall with her arms outstretched, showcasing a fantastic tan and a smile on her face, the caption read: ‘The @loosewomen #bodypositive #campaign has given me the confidence to appreciate my body and all it’s flaws – I have #stretchmarks #psoriasis #wobblybits – I don’t compare myself to other women with long legs, flat tummies and perfect skin anymore and it does make for a happier holiday #loveyourself’

The post quickly gained popularity and garnered almost 700 likes, with fans flooding her comments section with words of encouragement and praise.

One user commented; ‘You look amazing Saira, and importantly? Happy…’ and another added: ‘The thing about body flaws is only YOU see them. You look stunning!’

Another user wrote: ‘Had no idea you have psoriasis! Loving yourself and redefining beauty is definitely the way to go’

Even Saira’s fellow Loose Women panellist Linda Robson got involved and showered her with compliments, writing: ‘Your perfect our @loosewomen campaign has helped so many people to love our bodies no matter what shape or size stretch mark veins inspiration @iamsairakhan’

The Loose Women ladies have been busy promoting body confidence up and down the country, one picture-perfect, ‘flaws’ and all photo at a time!
