  • Charlie Simpson has become a father for the second time.

The Busted singer took to social media to confirm that his wife Anna Barnard had given birth earlier this week.

‘Very excited that this little guy decided to come and meet us last night,’ Charlie said while breaking the news on Instagram.

‘Welcome to the world Jago Jesse George Simpson!’

Charlie accompanied his words with an adorable picture of the tiny tot wrapped up in a snuggly-looking blanket.

Baby Jago appears to be sleeping peacefully in the black and white snap.

Fans were quick to congratulate the 32-year-old and his partner on the newest member of their family’s safe arrival.

‘Omg he’s gorgeous! Congratulations,’ said one.

Another commented: ‘Nice one guys – he’s adorable. Huge congratulations.’

Charlie and Anna first became parents in July 2015 when their son Arlo was born.

Soon after taking his newest son home, the proud dad treated his admirers to another seriously sweet candid snap.

‘Thanks for all the baby love! Arlo is very happy to have a little brother to play with! #BestBuds,’ he gushed on Twitter.

In the photo, Anna is seen putting a protective arms around both of her boys as Arlo cradles his new sibling with a huge smile on his face.

A hit with Charlie’s 136,000 followers, the post was ‘liked’ over 1,500 times.

Charlie and Anna announced they were expecting again in July last year and decided to keep the sex of their baby a secret, despite finding it out at their 20-week scan.

Following the birth of his first child, Charlie revealed that tours with his band would have to take a back seat to parenting duties.

‘I don’t think I could miss key points in my kids’ life when they’re growing up,’ he told The Sun.

‘I love touring and it means the world to me but I think I’d have to organise it in a way where I’m not missing out on my kids’ upbringing.’
