Gabby Logan: Glamorous? I spend Christmas in a greasy apron
See her reveal more secrets as she plays Truth or Dare in our exclusive behind the scenes video...
Sports personality Gabby Logan reveals who her BFF is, what unusual Christmas tradition she indulges in and just how many pets she has (hint: it's a lot) in an exclusive interview in the January issue of Essentials magazine.
Gabby on ruining Christmas dinner that one time... Christmas will be a nice big one this year, my mum and Kenny's mum will be there. The hardest part is not drying out the turkey like last year. Everyone was being very kind going; 'oh it's lovely' and I was like,'No. It's really not'. I need to do better this year!
On their family tradition... Around midnight, after the kids have gone to bed, the adults will open their presents. We started doing it because the opening session on Christmas morning was taking practically till lunchtime and it's become a bit of a family tradition now.
On how she knows Elvis... My sister Louise lives in America now, but she'll sometimes join us at the dinner table via Skype. Her partner, Elvis, works on Cirque Du Soleil in Vegas so they don't have any time off over Christmas.
On what keeps her busy, and it's not just the kids... We've got six chickens, a rabbit, hamster, three fish, and two dogs so far. Lois - my ten-year old - is amazing with them. When I got up this morning she was already out in her wellies getting the eggs. Her firsts words to me were, ‘Those chickens don’t half do a lot of pooing!’.
On what she REALLY thinks about Kirsty Gallacher... She really is a great friend and the kids love it when she brings her two boys to stay. So do I as it means we get to have a proper catch up over a bottle of wine when they go to bed! It's funny when my daughter asks: ‘Is Auntie Kirsty your best friend?'. I think you have friends for different occasions...
