James Corden has shared the lovely news that he and his wife Julia are parents for the third time after welcoming a 'beautiful baby daughter (opens in new tab)' this week.
The British actor, who currently lives in America where he hosts popular talk show The Late Late Show, took to Twitter to share the happy news with his fans and followers.
'Today we welcomed a beautiful baby daughter into the world. Both she and her mother are doing great. We can't stop smiling'
The 39-year-old also thanked former One Direction singer Harry Styles, who had stepped in at short notice to host James' show while he rushed to the hospital with his wife. 'Thank you Harry for stepping in to host the show at 2 and a half hours notice!' he added.
Harry Styles opened the show with a mention for James and Julia, quipping that the baby girl looked just like her daddy for a funny reason.
'Just a half hour ago, James and his beautiful wife Jules had a baby girl,' Harry said.
'In fact, I was just at the hospital before I came to fill in, and she looks a lot like James, mainly because James looks like a giant baby.'
Actor James and his wife Julia have been married for five years and are already parents to two children, five-year-old Max and a two-year-old called Carey.
Speaking back in September about adding a third child to their brood and preparing to welcome a second daughter, James said that he and his wife were, 'very excited.'
'She'll be arriving at Christmas - we're very excited. It will be great, lovely. We're having a little girl, it's gonna be terrific.
Talking about whether they will grow their family any further in the future and consider a fourth child James simply replied: 'We said it was done after two, so who knows?'
