Kym Marsh has shared an emotional tribute to her late son Archie on what would have been his ninth birthday.
The Coronation Street star took to Instagram yesterday to write a heartfelt message to Archie, who sadly passed away just after being born in 2009.
'9 years ago today our lives changed forever. Our hearts will never heal and our tears will always fall because we miss you so much,' began Kym.
'I am so proud to have been your mummy. I wish we were having a party today with balloons and presents. I wish I had got to see your smile and hold your hand. I wish I could kiss your face and hug you tightly.'
Kym, 41, went on to reflect about some of the other things she would love to have experienced with her son as he grew up.

The actress completed the heartfelt tribute by writing, 'You are always in our hearts my beautiful boy. Happy birthday. We miss you and love you so very much. Have fun up there today little one Mummy loves you.'

Archie was born when Kym was just 21 weeks into her pregnancy. He died soon after entering the world.
Clearly touched by Kym's moving post, a number of her followers sent the Coronation Street well-wishes and sweet messages of support.
'I'll always remember where I was when I heard. You're very brave and empowering Kym 💖,' said one.
Another also took the time to reference a charity event that the mum-of-three hosted in his honour this weekend.
'Thinking of you all! He would have been so proud of what you all did last night,' they said.
