Asda's cracking wine and champagne offer has arrived just in time for Easter…
If you’re stocking up on wine and bubbly for Easter, Asda’s latest wine deal has launched just in time to save you some serious cash.
The budget-friendly supermarket is offering a whopping 25 per cent discount across its range of wines and champagnes when you buy six bottles or more. The offer covers more than 500 wines and includes both Asda’s award-winning own brand varieties and big-name brands like Taittinger.
You can pick up six bottles of your favourite tipple, or mix and match them.
A bottle of Extra Special English Sparkling Brut, which would usually cost you £21, is sure to add a bit of fizz to your bank holiday shindig. The homegrown treat is made in the English countryside by Asda’s expert winemakers and has fresh, fruity notes of baked apple and citrus. And if you buy six, you’ll save yourself £30.
If you’re after a big-name tipple to impress your guests, Taittinger Brut Prestige Rosé Champagne is guaranteed to do just that. Usually £35 a bottle, you can snap up six for just £157.50, saving you £50.
Red wine fans will love Asda’s Extra Special Yarra Valley Pinot Noir, usually £9. Just right for Easter lunch, it’s won Decanter and IWSC awards. Bursting with juicy raspberry notes, this high quality Australian wine has been a hit with reviewers thanks to its 'beefy' body and intense 'kick'.

White wine lovers are bound to enjoy a glass of Extra Special Chablis, usually £12. A vegetarian wine with refreshing citrus notes, it’s distinguished by its lively mineral character and is great with seafood. ‘Really loved this wine,’ one online shopper commented, ‘Just wished for a plate of oysters to go with it.’ This specially selected French wine won an International Challenge award in 2014.
‘Easter is a time to gather with family and friends, and we want to help our customers enjoy these moments with the perfect pour,’ said Asda wine buyer April Shiels. ‘We know our customers like to grab a bargain – at Asda we want to help them enjoy excellent quality wine for less.’
The deal runs in Asda stores until 22nd April (Easter Monday). A limited number of wines are also on offer online.
