Celebrity Bake Off viewers shocked as Joe Wilkinson is named star baker with cake based on his own bottom
Fans of The Great Celebrity Bake Off were left surprised at the results of last night’s show.
Viewers were left shocked and amused after the most recent instalment of The Great Celebrity Bake Off, which aired on Tuesday 26th March, saw comedian Joe Wilkinson win the show’s Star Baker prize with a cake based on his own bum.
For the episode’s Showstopper challenge, celebs taking part in the special Stand Up To Cancer version of the popular Channel 4 programme were asked to bake a cake that resembles their life.

And judges were met with more than they expected.
During the show, TV comedian Joe revealed his lifelong wish to win ‘rear of the year’ and commenced to create the cheeky cake.
The 43-year-old’s show-stopping bake featured a shapely behind decorated with the words ‘I love gherkins’, wearing a neon green thong and presented on large podium with a plaque reading ‘Bum of the Decade’.

But despite the unconventional offering, the judges seemed to love the cracking showstopper they were presented with.
‘I think this is a really personal cake!’ said chef, restauranteur and cookery writer judge Prue Leith. ‘Do you really have ‘I love gherkins on your bum?’’
‘I think the flavour is beautiful!’ added iconic Bake Off judge Paul Hollywood. ‘I’m highly impressed!’
Looks like the tough judge was actually impressed – no ‘soggy bottom’ here!
‘I think, in life, I’m one of Paul’s favourite people all around,’ said Joe in the personal interview segment. ‘I don’t know if he likes me as a baker, but in life he adores me!’
Programme presenter Noel Fielding also joined in on the cake judging, adding: ‘We all like Joe’s bum!’

‘@gillinghamjoe Will your bum cake be available in the shops over Easter? #GBBO,’ wrote one fan.
‘#GBBO Yay! Well done @gillinghamjoe,’ added another. ‘Great job across all 3 challenges. Great bum too!’
Another commented: ‘Congratulations @gillinghamjoe on your #GBBO #SU2C victory. Who knew your arse would win it all?’
Former Great British Bake Off Candice Brown even tweeted her thoughts, and clearly she found it hilarious.
What ever will they come up with next!
