A source told the Sun: 'Rachel loves cooking and can't wait to get into the kitchen. She's a keen amateur chef and won't be going home without a fight.'
We're rooting for Rachel to do well, but she's previously admitted to not being a great cook.
Speaking to the MailOnline, she's said: 'I'm learning to cook. It's not my forté, but I try and balance my portion sizes.'
The singer had also revealed she loves carbs, so we can expect plenty of delicious pasta dishes when she joins the programme.
'I love my carbs, especially in winter. I know it's boring to say, but running after the kids helps me keep in shape.
'Diets don't work. I just eat healthily little and often. And I have a hardcore trainer who puts me through my paces. I'm like anyone else. Sometimes you feel great and other times you don't.'
Rebecca Adlington
The former competitive swimmer, who specialised in freestyle events in international competitions and won bronze at the London 2012 Olympics, will also be one of the celebs joining the MasterChef kitchen.
