KFC is opening its kitchens to customers.
The fast food restaurant is inviting fans to visit their kitchens and cook their own chicken.
Of course, we all love to treat ourselves to some fast food every now and again
But when we’re trying to save a bit of money and be good to our bank accounts, grabbing a few ingredients and giving it a try ourselves is always the go-to solution.
And when it all goes wrong and the spices just don’t mix in the right way, we end up getting hold of a supermarket alternative that will just about hit the spot.

But the fast food chain is now giving you the chance to get the recipe just right so you can do it yourself at home – without throwing a rip off bag of frozen fillets in the oven.
Up to 300 KFC branches across the country will opening up their kitchens for fans to try their hand at the secret chicken recipe.
The KFC Open Kitchen event will give customers an exclusive behind the scenes look into how the cooks whip up the classic Original Recipe chicken.
Attendees will then be offered a unique hands-on experience where they can try out the art of hand-breading, learn how to fry to perfection and make an effort to build their own KFC burger.
They will also get to dig into their burger as well as a fried chicken meal, and will go away with their own KFC apron.
‘We’re really proud of the food we serve, and of all the care that goes into making our chicken taste as incredible as it does,’ says Rob Swain, Chief Operations Officer at KFC UK & Ireland.
‘We want to welcome everyone in to give them the chance to see what makes it so finger lickin’ good, and invite them to try keeping pace with our amazing team members. We can’t wait to show the nation how it’s done.’
