It has been announced that Maltesers are releasing a white chocolate version of its fan favourite truffles.
The confectionary brand left the mouths of Maltesers fans watering last year as it launched its milk chocolate truffles.
And now, they’re teasing us with news of another equally delicious offering.
A white chocolate edition of the sweet treats are going to be available to buy on the 9th September, and we reckon they’ll be flying off the shelves by the time Christmas rolls around.
The tasty bite sized chocs will combine a milk and white chocolate truffle centre teamed with tiny chunks of honeycomb and encased in a white chocolate outer layer.

They’ll be sold exclusively at Tesco stores and on the supermarket’s website, costing £4.99 per 200g pack.
In light of the exciting foodie news, Maltesers lovers took to social media to express their joy.
One Tweeted: ‘PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT they're bringing out WHITE choc malteser truffles YAAASS! Take my money @MaltesersUK😍,’ and another replied: ‘OMGGGGGGGG.’
Meanwhile, Instagram account @newfoodsuk shared an image of the all new packaging for the white chocolate edition of the truffles, captioning it: ‘New Product Alert🚨 Maltesers White Truffles!!! 😮.’
Reacting to the upload, one commenter wrote: ‘oh my gaaaaaaaaaad I'm sooo excited ❤️❤️❤️ xxx,’ and a second chipped in, already planning a date with a box of the chocolates: ‘We need a Christmas night with a box of these each!!!’
A third went on to anticipate that the new release could be Maltesers’ most epic launch: ‘This could be the best yet 😬.’
