Who said roast dinners are just for Sundays.

Toby Carvery is selling half price roast dinners – but you’ll have to be quick if you want to get hold of one.

There are few dishes that inherently embrace the taste of the British. Fish and chips, a cooked breakfast, bangers and mash and of course the king of all meals – the roast dinner.

But as a society the population has taken a silent pact to stick to Sundays when it comes to digging into a roast. After all, juicy meats, crispy spuds and seasoned veg all drowned in flavoursome gravy is just what the day of rest calls for right?

Well now one restaurant is giving us all the go ahead to do something unprecedented in the history of the roast dinner – have a roast dinner feast on a Wednesday.

Carvery restaurant Toby Carvery is rewarding all us well-deserving Brits for getting through the week with one hour less sleep with a half price midweek roast dinner.
