'The first bite was heaven' Waitrose launches new Biscoff cheesecake and it sounds incredible
Lotus Biscoff comes in many forms, and now Waitrose are selling a speculoos cheesecake in collaboration with the English Cheesecake Company.
Described as a ‘Creamy vanilla cheesecake swirled and topped with delicious Lotus Biscoff spread and crumb, on a crunchy digestive biscuit base’, we’re sure the latest offering will go down well this season.
Shoppers can pick up two single slices of the cheesecake for £2.63, or a full 484g cake for £4.
Apparently the full cheesecake serves six, but if recent reviews are anything to go by, we definitely wouldn’t judge people for trying to keep the whole thing to themselves.
One glowing review read, ‘Tried this cheesecake today as myself and my husband are big fans of lotus biscoff, the first bite was heaven then as u had more u didnt want it to end. One of the best cheesecakes we have had in a long time. Will be buying the big one next time!!’
Another said, ‘Perfect for family and individual alike, if you like Biscoff this is the dessert for you.’

A third agreed, saying, ‘I bought this cheesecake as a one-off treat and did not expect the quality to be so good. I will definitely be buying again as I have truly never found a shop bought cheesecake as wonderful as this. Lovely flavours. Highly recommend.’
Recently, shoppers were delighted to find out that the popular spread is also available in bite-size form called Biscoff Rolls. One shopper described them as ‘McVities nibbles but with Biscoff biscuits in the middle.’ Sounds good to us!
We're not sure if these cheesecakes are here to stay, or if they're limited, but it's probably worth heading in-store or adding one to your online basket soon to avoid disappointment.
If you’d prefer to bake your own treats, we’ve got the perfect Biscoff cake balls recipe that are the perfect addition to any party spread. Our recipe makes around 18 – 20 so perfect if you’ve got a lot of guests… or hungry people!
Or, if Biscoff isn’t your thing, M&S recently launched their foot-long chocolate éclair as part of their Christmas range. It’s a thing of beauty!
So whatever dessert you fancy, your local supermarket has got you covered. Great news for those of you with a sweet tooth.
