'Give yourself some cake if you want it' Ferne McCann's diet and exercise secrets
Ferne is looking incredible, and we love how she's done it!
Everybody's favourite Essex girl Ferne McCann has been open about her ups and downs with her weight and body confidence in the past - her honest attitude is why we love her so much!
Although Ferne has faced some criticism about her weight, whether it be comments from her time in the I'm A Celebrity jungle or the photos from her holiday she deemed 'unflattering', she's always kept a positive and body-confident attitude.
Ferne's looking better than ever, but you'll be pleased to know her approach to diet and exercise is refreshingly normal. Through her love of food and keeping fit, Ferne's figure is one she should be proud of.
Here, we take a look at how Ferne keeps that fantastic bod!
Embrace your curves
Although the 26 year old likes to exercise and eat clean to stay healthy, she doesn't try and a force a body shape that isn't hers. Her classic hour glass figure looks incredible, and as you can see in this holiday snap, she's happy to flaunt what she's got!
Ferne is known for her body positive attitude and has spoken out against critics in the past who have tried to body shame her. After seeing unflattering photos of herself on holiday she took to Snapchat, telling followers, 'I understand it's not the best angle, I understand there probably is a bit of cellulite, but I can't help it. I'm standing strong, I'm defiant, I'm not going to let these people get me down. So I'm going to get my glad rags on and I'm going to get to the TV Choice Awards!'
We love that she knows she's a real woman and isn't apologetic of that!

Find an exercise you like
For Ferne, exercise hasn't always been about being slim, it's about having fun and staying fit. Although she does put in some hard working sessions at the gym, she's often spoken about her love of team sports such as badminton and netball.
Speaking to the Daily Star last year, Ferne explained all of the different sports she gets involved in and it sounds like she's been a very busy lady!
Commenting on all of the different exercises she does, she said, 'I'm part of a netball team and I never let them down, I also had a badminton match that night and I'm training for the half marathon.'
Treat yourself
Looking good should never mean starving yourself or being miserable, according to Ferne. The reality TV star is a huge believer of a balance and that treating yourself is a good thing.
In an interview with the Belfast Telegraph she explained that if you're putting in the work in the gym, you can afford to have something nice to eat when you want to - it's all about not denying yourself too much.
'For me, it's all about making healthy choices, not starving yourself or denying yourself every day. I try to make healthy choices but it's not like I cut out carbs or alcohol or Chinese takeaways completely because they are things that I absolutely love.'
'You have to treat yourself or else I think you'd be miserable.'
A girl after our own hearts, she added of her love of cake, 'As long as you're exercising and making good choices for the majority of the time then why not give yourself some cake if you want it?'
