X Factor star Lucy Spraggan marries girlfriend Georgina Gordon in romantic ceremony
Lovely news for the singer and her partner!
Looks like big congratulations are in order for former X Factor contestant Lucy Spraggan, who is officially a married woman after tying the knot with her girlfriend Georgina Gordon!
The singer, 24, took to her Instagram account to share some gorgeous pictures from their romantic wedding day, and she couldn't look happier. Lucy stayed true to her effortless style, dressed in a blue trouser suit and red tartan waistcoat, while her new wife glowed in a long-sleeved ivory gown with tulle skirt.
The star captioned one of the wedding photos: 'I am the luckiest person on this planet', and alongside another, which shows the pair embracing under a neon 'just married' sign, she simply added: '#Life ❤️👰🏻👰🏼'
The wedding reception looks to have taken place in a romantic barn setting, with lots of fairy lights and bunting!
The couple made sure to add a personal touch to the ceremony by hiring their very own tattoo artist for the occasion, who came along to commemorate the pair's special day. The singer delighted her Instagram fans by sharing a pic of her and her mum getting matching tattoos: 'When you and your mum get matching tattoos at your wedding... 🙊👏🏻😝'
Lucy competed in The X Factor in 2012 and got through to the finals, but quit after falling ill and not wanting to unfairly be put through every round without being able to compete.
Lucy, who proposed to Georgina last year, told OK! magazine about her incredibly romantic gesture: '[Georgina] didn't have a clue and she turned around and I was on one knee - it was amazing, I think I knew that she'd say yes but it was still scary.

'I got a boat – she didn't know we were going on a boat, we went underneath Albert Bridge and her friends and family, her mum was on the bridge with all of her mates.'
She added of Georgina: 'I find peace when I'm with her and she makes me feel safe and happy.'
Congratulations to the happy couple!
