Mums are LOVING this ‘brilliant’ ASDA cooling mist for little ones in the sun

It can be difficult finding the best sun cream, especially with so many options on the market. But mums are swearing by this ASDA product for essential sun protection.

One mum took to Facebook group Extreme Couponing and Bargains to share ASDA’s Cooling Clear Sun Mist, which has SPF 50. She revealed she’d previously spent up to £12 for sun cream, then realised it only had two or three stars.

But this bargain buy from ASDA is less than £5, is rated five stars, and has the highest UVA and UVB protection. This is essential if you’ve got little ones spending all day in the summer sun.

In her post, the mum wrote: ‘I always prefer a spray mist for holidays as its less messy and so easy to apply!

‘After all the UVA star ratings in the news I realised that the one I was using was only 2** and 3*** UVA rated!’

The mum also explained it was a challenge finding one with high protection, adding: ‘I have struggled to find one with 5* and today I came across this is Asda and my prayers had been answered.

‘I was paying £7, £8. . . up to £12 for the previous ones and this little beauty has all the stars and UVB tested too, ticks all the boxes and was a bargain at £3.50.’

Since the post was shared, other Facebook users have shared their experience with ASDA’s spray.

One wrote: ‘This stuff is brilliant. Especially for the scalp of kids if they won’t keep a hat on and for tricky areas like ears.’

But it’s not just great for kids either, with other users saying they’ve been using the product and have had a great experience with it.

‘I suffer with prickly heat normally but using this I’ve had nothing!! Absolutely recommend', one user wrote.

Another agreed: ‘I’ve been in Florida for the last 3 weeks and I have been using this, it’s fantastic.’

Shoppers can pick up the ASDA Cooling Mist for £3.50 both online and in-store.
