Primark set to trial online click and collect service – and we can’t wait
Primark is set to trial an online click and collect service much to the delight of fashion fanatics.
Primark is everyone’s favourite bargain shop – but tackling the crowds and long checkout queue can often be a bit of a nightmare.
However, this is all set to change...
Primark shoppers, who have been begging for an online shopping service, can finally order online as Primark are set to launch their first click and collect service during a trail run.
Happy shoppers will be able to reserve goods and later collect them in stores – getting their hands on the hottest products before they sell out in store.
Currently, Primark offers an online website for promo purposes only – you can only view the products for sale, you cannot purchase them. So, this is a huge step for the high street retailer, following the footsteps of other shopping outlets with online services.
The company’s chief executive Paul Marchant told a group of analysts earlier this month that an online service is ‘on the horizon,’ according to a financial management company Davy.

‘Even when rolled out, a click-and-collect offering will only drive an incremental benefit for Primark.’
Primark fans have gone absolutely wild on social media following the revelation, with one commenting: ‘Primark trialling an online shop is probably the best news ive heard all year.’
Another added: ‘OMG.. primark are doing online shopping soon😭🤪 a dream come true.’

This big news comes just a few weeks after the opening of Primark’s biggest store in Birmingham – and if you haven’t visited it yet, the five-floor Primark palace even includes its very own Disney Café, three restaurants, and a beautician service.
Though, it is unknown when the trial will start. We hope it’s soon so we can get our hands on the latest Disney collection and Friend’s-themed range before they sell out.
