Ellen Page, the Hollywood star best known for her leading role in the film Juno, has revealed that she's secretly married her girlfriend, Emma Portner just six months after going public with their relationship.
The 30-year-old actress shared the news with a three-image post to her fans on Instagram, showing off the couple's matching wedding bands, a black-and-white shot of the loved-up couple kissing and a single photo of her wife, Emma. Ellen captioned the photos, 'Can't believe I get to call this extraordinary woman my wife @emmaportner.'

Emma Portner also shared the news on her own Instagram profile with the same wedding band and black-and-white images along with a different photo of the couple together. She wrote, 'I get to call this incredible woman MY WIFE! @ellenpage I LOVE YOU!'

Between them, the women received over 6,000 congratulatory comments after sharing the happy news with their fans.
The happy couple got together just a few months after Ellen split from her ex-girlfriend, artist Samantha Thomas, who she'd dated for 18 months.
In September 2017, actress Ellen Page revealed that she finally felt 'happiness and inner peace' after she made the decision to publicly come out as gay back in 2014.
When speaking to Diva magazine last year Ellen explained, 'Everything is different. From one day to the next [after coming out], I felt a happiness and inner peace which I hadn't known for years.'
She admitted that prior to coming out as a lesbian, she was becoming 'increasingly unhappy', so much so it began to impact on her work.
Ellen and Emma went public with their romance in July last summer, after being spotted kissing outside a cafe in Los Angeles. They have since been spotted together more and more, showing that their romance was really getting serious.
