Baby Archie's has broken records following his arrival in South Africa with parents Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.

  • Meghan and Harry arrive in South Africa to visit landmarks, historical sites and charities.
  • Upon their arrival, Harry and Meghan visited a workshop teaching children about safety and enjoyed a dance with the locals in Nyanga Township.
  • In other royal news, Harry and Meghan plan to share all of the touching gifts received after Archie's birth with those in need.

Master Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor has arrived in South Africa to commence his 10-day royal tour alongside parents Harry and Meghan.

His arrival marks a special day in history as Archie breaks the royal record as being the youngest member of the Royal Family to go on tour.

Five-month old Archie, and seventh in line to the throne, has stolen the record from cousin Prince George, who was nine-months-old when his parents Kate and William took him to Australia in April 2014.

The Sussex family arrived in Cape Town this morning after a delayed British Airways flight. Meghan delivered a speech in the Nyanga Township in Cape Town to mark the first day of the tour.

It was revealed back in June that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle would be heading to South Africa on royal tour where they will be carrying out charity work with local communities.

The duke and duchess took to their Instagram account to reveal that  Archie would be joining them during their royal tour, making it their first as a family of three.

Alongside a sweet photo of the pair on Instagram, a caption read: ‘TRH The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are excited to announce that they have been asked to carry out a tour to Southern Africa this autumn.

‘The Foreign and Commonwealth Office have requested a visit to South Africa 🇿🇦 as well as The Duke carrying out visits to Malawi 🇲🇼 and Angola 🇦🇴. His Royal Highness will also do a short working visit to Botswana 🇧🇼 en route to the other countries.

‘The Duke and Duchess are really looking forward to meeting so many of you on the ground and continuing to raise awareness of the high impact work local communities are doing across the Commonwealth and beyond.

‘This will be their first official tour as a family!’

And while Harry will be busy carrying out charity work making further trips to Botswana, Angola and Malawi while Meghan and baby Archie stay in Cape Town.

We just hope we get to glimpse some cute pics of him!
