Gordon Ramsay’s daughter reveals that the family have suffered a sad loss.
The TV chef’s 17-year-old daughter Matilda, or Tilly, Ramsay took to her social media to share the sad news with fans and followers.
Taking to her Instagram page the TV presenter uploaded a series of sweet photos to reveal the news that the family’s dog Rump had passed away.
Alongside photos showing the famous chef’s daughter spending time with the family pooch, Tilly wrote: ‘Will miss you forever rump 🖤 Thanks for being the best dog ever, love you always x’.
Many of her 392,000 followers commented on the sad post, with comments including: ‘I’m so sorry 💜 it’s so hard to lose a pet, they really are family. Thinking of you’, ‘So sorry to hear about your pup’ and ‘So sorry! The loss of a pet is horrible. Your pup is chasing squirrels over the Rainbow Bridge.’
David and Victoria Beckham’s son Romeo Beckham even left a sweet comment, writing: ‘😥😥😥😥 most amazing dog ❤️’.
This sad news comes after a happy time for the family, when they welcomed a new child into the family.
Back in April, the restaurateur and his wife Tana welcomed their fifth child, Oscar.
The 52-year-old, who revealed his wife’s pregnancy in a sweet post on New Year’s Eve, took to Instagram to announce the happy news.
‘After 3 baftas and one Emmy… finally we have won an Oscar,’ wrote the excited dad, who recently came under fire for the way he carried his newborn, ‘please welcome Oscar James Ramsay, who touched down at 12:58 today for some lunch! Xxx’
New Year’s Eve saw the family construct a sweet video to announce the exciting pregnancy.
In the short video, the camera spans from each of the couple’s kids all cheering Happy New Year.
It ends on Tana who also says Happy New Year, and then the proud father-of-five-to-be jokes: ‘And guess what, Happy New Year because… We’ve got another one coming! Oh my lord! Oh noooo!’
We’re sorry for the family’s loss.
