Royal fans have praised the Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton, for proving she is just like one of us after she was spotted using public transport last week.

The Duchess travelled to Norfolk on Friday without her husband Prince William in order to open The Nook children’s hospice for the East Anglia Children’s Hospice Charity.

While it was a day of royal duties for Duchess Catherine, she certainly showed her down to earth side as she travelled to Framingham for the special day.

Instead of opting for a private ride, Kate was joined by her entourage as she hopped on a public train to make her way to the event.

In a video shared on an Instagram fan page dedicated to the Duchess, she can be seen strutting through the train station, looking cool and collected.

While seeming to go unnoticed by the crowds of unsuspecting fellow travellers around her, Kate stunned in a plum Oscar de la Renta coat with stylish peplum detail, sleek black heels and matching tights.

Applauding the mum-of-two for her relaxed yet elegant composure and casual travelling methods, fans of the royal took to the comment section beneath the video.

No wonder many love her. Down to earth Catherine😍,’ one wrote.

A third chipped in, ‘💗💗 It would be so exciting to randomly see her like that! Also that is one of my favourite outfits!

Imagine just be at the station then Kate walks last you 😍😍 I would’ve died right there 😂❤️,’ agreed another.
