Kate Middleton included a special childhood memory in the garden she helped design at Chelsea Flower Garden – but did you spot it?
The mum-of-three unveiled her new project last week, with lovely pictures of her little ones playing in the woodland garden she helped create.
She later showed the Queen around before the space was opened to the public, but it seems that she added a special personal touch.
The sweet touch is a brown, paper tag in which Kate hand wrote one of her favourite childhood memories of spending time outside.
The note reads ‘In boulder hopping in the Lake District’, where she went with her family when she was a young girl.

A picture of the paper tag was shared on social media by royal reporter Richard Palmer, who wrote: ‘The Duchess of Cambridge shares a childhood memory of the great outdoors.’
But the tag wasn’t the only personal touch Kate added to her project – she also included forget-me-nots as a tribute to the late Princess Diana, because they were her favourite flower.
The new garden was designed by the Duchess and landscape architects Andree Davies and Adam White, in a bid to inspire families to spend more time outside.
Alongside the lovely family pictures they shared on Kensington Palace’s official Twitter account, they wrote: ‘ The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are very pleased to share some new photographs of their family as they visited the #RHSChelsea Back to Nature Garden.
Over the past months, Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis have helped The Duchess gather moss, leaves and twigs to help decorate the #RHSChelsea Back to Nature Garden. Hazel sticks collected by the family were also used to make the garden’s den.
‘The Duchess of Cambridge is a strong advocate for the proven benefits the outdoors has on physical and mental health, and the positive impact that nature and the environment can have on childhood development in particular.
