Prince George and Princess Charlotte received an exciting treat from their dad Prince William last night
William joked he would be the 'most popular dad' in the country for this...
Prince George and Princess Charlotte will have been thrilled with the gift their dad Prince William picked up for them but Prince Louis is still too little to join in the fun...
Prince William was at the University of Birmingham when he was presented with a specially designed colouring book for each of his children, titled The Big Book of Dinosaur Colour. Inside it is filled with the outlines of dinosaurs, fossils, whales and other creatures for the children to colour in.
Prince George will have been particularly thrilled with his dad's treats last night, as the eldest of the Cambridge's children is said to be absolutely obsessed with dinosaurs.
Because of his son's obsession, Prince William was confident he'd be a very popular dad when he returned home with a dinosaur-themed colouring book for each of his children.
In a video posted by royal reporter Rebecca English showing Prince William, he can be heard showing off his dinosaur knowledge and speaking about his eldest son's love of dinosaurs.
The father-of-three asked one of the children at the Acorns Hospice centre in Birmingham: 'Is that a triceratops?', before adding 'George is obsessed with dinosaurs so we're learning all about them.'
The books were created by the university to mark William's visit, and were sketched by the artist Julian Kiely, who has volunteered in the Lapworth Museum of Geology. People's royal reported Simon Perry posted a picture of inside the book on Instagram.

Sir David Eastwood, the vice-chancellor of the university explained: 'We made four especially for today.' Discussing William's response to the books David added: 'He said "I'll be the most popular father in the country tonight".'
If you fancy grabbing one of the books for your own children, they are not currently available but the university is considering making more hardback copies in the future so watch this space!
Prince William and Kate haven't commented on if Princess Charlotte is as obsessed with dinosaurs as her brother, but given the siblings close relationship it's likely they'll love completing this together.
Worst case, Prince George just bagged himself three dinosaur themed colouring books to keep him busy! Poor little Prince Louis might not get his hands on one...
