Prince Louis is about to experience his first ever Christmas, and mum Kate Middleton has given us the sweetest update about the little royal…
It might seem like longer ago, but it was only in April that Kate have birth to her third child, little Prince Louis.
Since then we’ve been spoiled with a few other major royal events – Meghan and Harry’s wedding in May, Louis’ Christening, Princess Eugenie’s wedding and let’s not forget another royal baby on the way.
It’s been quite the year for the Windsors, and now the family is gearing up for the festive season.
The Cambridges in particular seem to be ready to celebrate in style, as Kate reveals their little ones are excited for the big day.
While speaking to well-wishers during a walkabout on Wednesday, Kate said: ‘The [kids] are doing well thank you. Getting excited for Christmas time because they've started all their Christmas songs and Christmas trees are going up and stuff.’

So while George and Charlotte are all over the festive soundtrack and the Christmas decorations, how is their little brother Louis doing?
Kate added: ‘And Louis is getting bigger. I can't believe it. He's seven months - he's a big boy!’

As it’s customary, it’s expected the Cambridges will release their traditional Christmas card soon and it will be Louis’ first – we’re hoping for a cute family picture!
Speaking to royal fans, Kate also opened up about how exciting it is that Harry and Meghan have a baby on the way.
When asked if she was ‘excited for Meghan and her new baby’, the Duchess replied: ‘Yeah, absolutely.
‘It’s such a special time to have all the kiddies and a cousin for George and Charlotte as well, and Louis. It’ll be really special.’
