Princess Charlotte showcases new sparkly school bag accessory - and it only costs 58p!

Princess Charlotte was spotted with a sparkly addition to her Thomas’s Battersea rucksack.

• Today was Charlotte’s first day at primary school.

• This follows royal news that Baby Archie will be receiving a very special gift as dad Prince Harry returns from Amsterdam.

The four-year-old princess started her first at primary school in style as she walked up to the gates flaunting a cute accessory on her school bag.

Snapped arriving at Thomas’s Battersea alongside her big brother Prince George and beaming parents the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, Charlotte looked excited to begin at Thomas's Battersea, where George already been going for two years.

As proud mum Kate carried her daughter’s bag as they arrived at the £19,000-a-year primary school, onlookers noticed a sparkly addition attached to the princess’ bag.

Charlotte is required to wear the school’s navy blue rucksack, but that certainly didn’t stop her from adding a glitter pink sequin unicorn keyring to her uniform!

This isn’t the first time Charlotte has shown off a cool unicorn accessory, as the four-year-old was recently spotted carrying a unicorn purse at the family’s visit to the King Power Royal Charity Polo Day.

The unicorn trend will likely be going nowhere as Princess Charlotte’s latest accessory is sure to be a hit with parents and children alike.
