Tom Daley reveals the gender of his baby but there's one thing they WON'T share about the child

Tom Daley and husband Dustin Lance Black have confirmed if they are having a baby boy or girl, but there's one thing about their child that they won't be revealing.

The couple announced they were expecting their first child, via surrogate, on Valentine's Day.

Now Tom and Dustin, who married last year, have confirmed that they are going to have a little boy.

Speaking on radio personality and mum-of-two Fearne Cotton's podcast Happy Place, Olympic diver Tom said the couple are going to have 'a little boy'.

Taking to Fearne's Instagram, fans wrote messages of support for Tom and Dustin and shared their thoughts on the interview.

One wrote: 'Such a sweet interview and they both sound so excited and totally in love with their little one 💕'.

Another said: 'Fantastic , listened this morning on the school run , so uplifting to hear the love and excitement in there voices , wishing @tomdaley and @dlanceblack all the love as they embark on this exciting road of parenting'.

A third added: 'Such a beautiful interview their baby will have a life filled with such love ❤ xxx'.

During the podcast, 23-year-old Tom also addressed the question of who the child's biological father is. Tom said: 'That's something we're adamant about no one knowing, ever, because they are our children.'

He also spoke about the disappointing reaction he and Dustin received when they revealed they were using a surrogate.

Tom said: 'With Kim [Kardashian], people felt sorry she's not able to have to have a child because of health reasons. How lovely it is that a surrogate has been willing to do that?

'But for every other gay couple that isn't able to have a child, but desperately would love to bring up a child like any heterosexual couple, we have treated quite differently.'

Dustin was praised for his response to the cruel comments made by Internet trolls.

The couple met in 2013, and shortly after Tom publicly revealed that he was gay.

The Olympic athlete made his first public appearance with screenwriter Dustin in 2014, and the two married in May last year.

Tom and Dustin have since welcomed a surprise second son, in March 2023.
