Zara Tindall reveals how the royal family celebrate Christmas
'Christmas takes on a new magic when you have children'
Have you ever wondered what Christmas day is like for the royal family?
You can imagine the most beautiful decorations, the most traditional looking tree and of course, the best Christmas dinner in the country! But it turns out that for the royals, the most important thing about Christmas is pretty much the same for all of us - family.
Zara Tindall has opened up about what Christmas traditions look like for her and her royal family members, expressing how she can't wait to be reunited with them all at Sandringham this year.
Zara told Country Living, 'Having all the generations of my family together at Christmas is my favourite part of the season.'
And even the royal family love a good old game of charades, as Zara explains the best bits are eating great food and playing some games, 'it's a time of year that is about being with people you love, great food and loads of games to play.'
Zara has one daughter named Mia, who will turn three in January and of course makes the holiday all the more special.
The British equestrian reflected on how the innocence of children can make much of the sweet festive traditions come to life and feel more magical, 'Christmas takes on a new magic when you have children', she said.

Zara is delighted that Mia is now at an age where she can really partake in all the festive fun, especially with her famous cousins like George, three, and Charlotte, one.
'Mia will share this Christmas with lots of her cousins, some very close in age to her, and I think this year will be the one when she really starts to understand it all.'
Also joining the little ones for a spot of present unwrapping and game playing will be Mia's older cousins, the children of Peter Phillips, Zara'a brother. Peter has two daughters with his Canadian wife, Autumn Kelly, called Savannah, six, and Isla, four.
What's the best thing about your Christmas? Do you agree with the royals, that spending time with the family comes first - followed closely by good food of course!
