  • Toby Carvery have announced that they are looking for a Christmas dinner tester to ensure that all of their roasts are up to scratch for the festive season.

Christmas is all about great food and indulgence, but as much as we love a good Christmas dinner, we could never find the energy to cook one every day – let alone handle all of that washing up!

But, what if we told you that you could enjoy all the delicious perks of eating a Christmas dinner every day, without the hassle of preparing one?

Well, thanks to restaurant chain Toby Carvery, this dream could become your reality, as they are looking for a ‘Christmas Dinner Mystery Diner’ to join them over the festive season to keep their Christmas foodie fare in check.

The very merry job description for the role reads: ‘Toby Carvery, the home of the roast, is searching for a new member of the team as an official mystery Christmas Dinner Diner. This role will be key in helping Toby perfect and launch new products across the UK, at this important time of year.’

‘A successful candidate will join the Toby team in the run up to Christmas, to taste, discuss and pass opinion on the festive range of food and drink. We want them to visit as many different Tobys, as many times as they want.’

The downside to becoming the Toby Carvery Festive Meal Taster is that they won’t pay you a penny for the privilege, however, you will be able to ‘get all the Toby Carvery you can eat and drink until December 31st 2017.’

So, fancy putting in an application for the Christmas dinner tasting role? Well, you have until the end of the day to write a 25-word post on LinkedIn, telling Toby Carvery why you should get the job along with the hashtag #HireMeToby.

Successful candidates need ‘a passion for festive foods and taste buds that match’. Good luck and happy eating!
