  • A simple-to-make dressing that’ll taste great on any salad – so easy to whip up at home, you’ll never feel the need to buy ready-made again


    • 2 tbsp white or red wine vinegar
    • 1/2-1 tsp Dijon mustard
    • Salt and freshly ground black pepper
    • 6 tbsp good olive oil


    • Whisk vinegar with mustard and plenty of seasoning. Slowly whisk in olive oil (or shake ingredients together in a jar.)

    • Use to dress salad leaves. Keep in the fridge and use within 1 week.

    Top tip for making Classic vinaigrette

    Add cider vinegar or balsamic vinegar and fresh herbs for different flavours.
