This simple cookie dough is egg-less, which means it’s safe to eat without baking. Use it as a dip for cookies, chocolates, fruit, or mix with ice cream for a cookie dough ice cream experience. Replace the chocolate chips with white chocolate or dark chocolate for different tastes. The golden syrup in this recipe makes this dip even sweeter and gooier than ever.   • 100g softened butter or margarine
  • 80g light brown sugar
  • 3tbsp golden syrup
  • 2tbsp milk
  • 100g plain flour
  • 50g chocolate chips




  1. Cream the butter and sugar together. Add the golden syrup and milk and mix through.
  2. Sift the flour and add to the mix and mix to a dough. Stir through the chocolate chips.
