Corrie star Kym Marsh looks better than ever, and she's been sharing the secrets behind her amazing figure on social media.
Kym, who plays Michelle Connor in the soap, has been talking about how she got her amazing body, and it's easier than you might think!
Writing in a blog for OK! magazine, the actress says that you don't need a gym or big weights to become healthier and fitter. Short workouts of 20 minutes are the way to go for the 39 year old, and it seems she's one of the latest stars to find success by following a fitness DVD! Kym has been relying on her own fitness DVD, which is due for release later this month, to keep fit. 'It really does go to show you don't need big weights or the gym to get a good workout that makes you feel great,' Kym wrote on her latest fitness blog post.
And despite being very commited to her fitness goals, Kym says she won't be joining in the waist trainer craze, which has been made famous by the likes of Kim Kardashian, as she's worried they might be unsafe.
'There doesn't seem to be any scientific evidence proving they're good for you and until there is I tend to leave it.'
When it comes to celebrity diets, Kym has a traditional approach - healthy eating and exercise is hey! The TV star's advice is to never forget what you're trying to achieve, especially at this time of year when it's easy to get carried away and over indulge on Christmas drinks and foods.
'My best advice is to just try to focus on what it is you want to achieve. Remember the bikini photos for next year, the feeling of looking good in your little black dress this New Year. Remember you only need twenty minutes a day – everyone can find that!'
But even though she's good to herself most days of the year, as the many pictures of healthy meals on her Twitter prove, Kym will hit the pause button on her fitness regime for Christmas day.
'On Christmas Day I'll be indulging and enjoying food and having fun so that will be my cheat day! Everyone needs a cheat day or it's likely you'll get bored.'
However, you won't be finding her lying on the sofa eating pigs in blankets for the entire holiday period: 'I will be making sure I will be bang on it between those key days - you can't let it slip, even though it is Christmas!'
The mother-of-three also shared what her biggest accomplishment has been so far in the fitness department - her abs.
'As a woman who has been pregnant 4 times I have to say I'm proud of my tummy. It's a very hard place for women to lose weight from – I know!'
Like most of us, the soap star has already started to plan her New Year resolutions, and of course fitness will play a big part in it.
The singer-turned-actress proved she likes big goals, as she's hoping to join her personal trainer boyfriend in climbing to Everest base camp for charity. 'That will be an amazing challenge and a great experience', Kym wrote.
Earlier in the year the star, who's been married twice before, opened up about her relationship with Matt, saying: 'We're both really happy and things are going really well. He means an awful lot to me.'
