Alison Hammond has revealed drastic weight loss that has shocked fans.
The This Morning host took to social media to unveil her new look, which fans were so surprised with that some even mistook her for pop star Beyoncé (opens in new tab).
Taking to Instagram to share a close up photo of her with a full face of glamourous makeup and donning an extravagant hairstyle that showed off her shiny curls, Alison raved about celebrity makeup artist and hair stylist Mikey Phillips, who had completed the look, writing: ‘When @makeupbymikey just kills a look. #fire’.
Her post raked up nearly 45,000 likes and over 1,900 comments in just a few hours, with many fans astounded at her transformation, exclaiming: ‘Wow Alison you look incredible keep it up,’ ‘Wow! You look incredible,’ ‘Wow , wow your on [flame emoji] bloody beautiful [queen emoji],’ and ‘WOW!!!!!!’
Others added: ‘Gorgeous. Love the new look’, ‘You look fabulous’ and ‘Oh my God amazing’.
Some even compared her to singer Beyoncé, writing: ‘I totally thought it was Beyonce. You look amazing’ and ‘Beyoncé best step aside!!!☺’.
The ITV presenter, who has recently become an ambassador for Weight Watchers, which has now been renamed to WW (opens in new tab), said of her joining the organisation: ‘My WW journey is focused on getting healthier for myself. I feel rubbish when I don’t eat properly or exercise and WW helps me with what I eat and do.
‘I want my journey to empower others to think about making changes to their lifestyle to become the best version of themselves,’ she continued.
‘It’s been 17 years since I began working in TV, and I’m busier than ever, especially juggling my duties as a mum,’ explained Alison. ‘My wellness journey is focused on getting healthier for myself.
‘WW is the only programme that works for me, with the Online WW Coach there for support whenever you need it, 24 hours a day.’
‘When you get really big like me, you don’t see any light at the end of the tunnel,’ she opened up to Planet Radio back in 2016.
‘I’d love to weigh 12 stone, that’s the ideal weight for my height,’ she admitted.
‘I’m 5ft 9in, but if I was 15 stone and around a size 14 to 16 I’d be over the moon.’
