This really warms our hearts

Duchess Cambridge Prince Louis Valentines

Kate Middleton and Prince Louis were spotted having an adorable Valentine’s Day date in London yesterday.

The Duchess of Cambridge might have had some romantic time with her husband William in the evening, but she spent the day with another special man in her life – her nine-month-old son Prince Louis.

According to Hello!, the royal took her youngest child for a spin around the public Kensington Gardens in a stroller – with one onlooker sharing a picture of this sweet moment of bonding between mother and son on Instagram.

The series of snaps shows what appears to be the 37-year-old looking relaxed and dressed casually in leggings and trainers as she takes in some welcome fresh air and greenery.

We have no doubt hubby Prince William and Kate’s remaining two children Prince George, five, and Princess Charlotte, three, were waiting with a special Valentine’s treat at the Cambridge’s Kensington Palace apartment once Kate and Louis made their return – even if it was just a family group hug.

It’s been a busy week for Kate. On Wednesday she spent the day at Royal Foundation’s ‘Mental Health in Education’ conference in London and in the evening she dazzled in a pink and cream Gucci gown at the 100WomenFinance’s Gala Dinner at the V&A Museum London in aid of HeadsTogether legacy programme ‘Mentally Healthy Schools’.

Kate is both a patron of the V&A and spearheads mental wellbeing campaign Heads Together alongside Prince William and Prince Harry.

Speaking at the Gala she emphasised the importance of children’s formative years for their future health and happiness, maybe one reason why she chose out to carve out some quality time with Prince Louis.

She said: ‘The first few years of a child’s life are more pivotal for social, physical and emotional development, and for future health and happiness than any single moment in our lifetime.’
