While the Duchess of Cambridge and Meghan Markle will soon have lots in common when she becomes a part of the royal family, it appears that Kate and Harry's bride-to-be already have similar tastes.
We already know that they have a similar sense of style with a love of lace - as Meghan has a shorter version of Kate's go-to second trimester dress - a black lace floor-length gown by Diane von Furstenberg.
Now, it has also been revealed that Kate and Meghan have another thing in common - their love of luxury perfume and fragrance. In particular, both the Duchess of Cambridge and Meghan Markle share a love of Jo Malone.
Jo Malone is a British perfumer famous for her luxurious scented candles and range of wonderful fragrances that start at £45 a bottle.
Kate Middleton is said to have loved the luxury scents so much that she asked for Jo Malone's Orange Blossom candles to be lit all around Westminster Abbey when she married Prince William in 2011.
Jo Malone described the candle as adding 'an air of luxury' to any room, with the ability to 'transform the atmosphere with luxury and opulence' - certainly fitting for a royal wedding as prestigious as William and Kate's!
Meanwhile, Meghan was also developing a love of Jo Malone, despite living across the Atlantic at the time.
In a previous interview with the Express, the former actress revealed that she too is a big fan of perfume, 'Fragrance is my favourite thing. So much so that if I leave the house and I don't put any on, I'll turn around and go back home.'
Unlike Kate who loves the citrus scent of orange mixed with water lily and blossom, Meghan's favourite Jo Malone's fragrances are the Wild Bluebell and Wood Sage and Sea Salt cologne - which is described by the brand as 'lively, spirited and totally joyful.' Very fitting for Prince Harry's future wife!
