Kate Middleton's clever trick to get Prince George and Princess Charlotte to behave on long car journey
This simple trick is one all parents can take note of...
Prince George and Princess Charlotte had a really fun day out with mum Kate Middleton over the weekend, but looks like the Duchess of Cambridge has one clever trick up her sleeve to get them to behave.
Kate Middleton gave birth to Prince Louis just over seven weeks ago yet she seems to be adapting to life as a mum-of-three with no trouble at all.
The Cambridges had a busy weekend last week with the Trooping of Colour and then a family day out at the Maserati Royal Charity Polo where Prince William was competing.
Prince George and Princess Charlotte appeared to be on best behaviour during both the very public appearances.
There was one small slip up on the balcony of Buckingham Palace and some more mischievous behaviour with cousin Savannah at the polo...
Overall however, the four-year-old and three-year-old did very well.
To keep Prince George and Princess Charlotte entertained at the polo while they waited for their father, Kate had lots of toys on hand.

Prince George and Princess Charlotte were seen with an old-school favourite, a rainbow-coloured slinky, a miniature golf set, lots of arts and crafts and controversially, a police set which included a toy gun.
The little royals seemed at ease with each other and clearly enjoyed the time they were able to stretch their legs and be the focus of attention away from little brother Prince Louis.
However, as many parents will know – a two-hour plus car journey can test even the most amicable of siblings and drastic measures need to be taken to ensure peace for the whole car.
According to People, Kate's clever tactic to avoid chaos was to tire Prince George and Princess Charlotte out.
An onlooker at the polo told People that just before leaving Kate said to the children: 'First to the polo field is the winner!'
By getting Prince George and Princess Charlotte to burn off what little steam they had left in them, it meant they were likely to sleep during the two hour drive back to Kensington Palace from Tetbury - how clever!
