Prince William wants Prince George and Princess Charlotte to take up tennis and football
Prince William joked with the Men's Wimbledon 2018 champion, Novak Djokovic.
Prince George and Princess Charlotte could be getting a few more tennis and football lessons squeezed in this summer as dad Prince William admitted he wants his children to be good at sport.
Prince George and Princess Charlotte are already very active and have a long list of interests and hobbies.
Earlier this year it was revealed that Zara Tindall was teaching Prince George to ride on a Shetland pony, the Cambridges took a ski trip in February and Princess Charlotte is thought to already have a keen eye for fashion.
Prince George and Princess Charlotte appeared to be infected by their dad's World Cup Fever as they were spotted playing football near Kensington Palace while William was on an official royal visit to Jordan.
Both Kate and William are known for their love of tennis too, so it's unsurprising that while out at the Wimbledon final, the father-of-three admitted he would really like his children to take up tennis and football.
Men's Wimbledon winner and fellow parent Novak Djokovic asked Kate and William how the kids were doing and William replied: 'Very well. Trying to get a tennis racket in their hands. And a football!'
Kate and William have always said they want their children to be active and Kate recently said that spending quality time with her family outdoors is one of her favourite pastimes.

As Patron of the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club Kate is probably thrilled at the idea her children will become tennis fanatics too.
Kate regularly watches the Wimbledon matches. Before she married Prince William she was usually spotted with her sister Pippa or brother James or sometimes her mum Carole. This year the Duchess of Cambridge was able to attend twice, first with Meghan Markle to watch the Ladies' Final and then with her husband for the Men's final.
Imagine if in a few years time the couple are going to watch one of their children compete in the competition. Just the idea of it is enough to excite us!
