Aldi launches 28oz Bigger Daddy Rump Steak for £7.99 – just in time for Father’s Day
Aldi has announced the launch of their bestselling rump steak at a whopping 28oz for one cut of meat.
Just last month, the budget supermarket brought back its bestselling 16oz Big Daddy Rump steak – but for a limited time only.
And, because Aldi know just how much we love a delicious steak meal, they have decided to launch a bigger version - just in time for Father’s Day.
The sought after steak comes in at just £7.99 for a mammoth 28oz of meat.
You’ll be pleased to know the whopping 28oz steaks are being sold in all Aldi stores, so if you haven’t had enough time to plan a Father’s Day present, we recommend cooking up a storm in the kitchen for him instead.
You can use this mammoth steak in one of our delicious steak recipes, and finish it with a homemade steak sauce for an added touch.
Aldi suggest cooking this 21 day matured meat on a high heat to get the most mouth-watering results.

So, if the weather is good this weekend, you could even throw it on the BBQ for dinner.
Its smaller version, the 16oz Big Daddy Rump Steak, sold out pretty fast, so you better head down to stores quick to get your hands on this mighty piece of meat as it’s only available for a limited time.
And, if dinner wasn’t enough, Aldi are also selling foot-long sausages for just £1.99 if you fancy treating your dad to a traditional fry-up on Sunday morning.
However, Aldi isn’t the only supermarket selling mammoth meat for dads this Father’s Day.
Morrison’s have launched their Mighty Meat Feast, which includes a rump steak, lamb chop, pork chop, three sausages, and two pieces of black pudding.
That’s eight pieces of meat all for just a fiver.
We suggest skipping the socks, pants and last box of chocolates left on the shelf, and instead get your hands on a tasty piece of meat for your dad this Father's Day.
