If you love pancakes and you love that classic Italian dessert, tiramisu, you really must try this mash-up, a panamisu! This recipe brings soft and sweet pancakes together with delicate tiramisu ingredients like fresh cream, dark chocolate and coffee flavouring - in this case, kahlua. This impressive dessert is sure to turn a few heads on Pancake Day.
Ingredients
- 1 x pancake batter
- 100g mascarpone
- 200ml double cream
- 2 tbsp icing sugar
- 5 tsp Kahlua
- 5 tbsp dark chocolate, grated

Method
- Make the pancake batter to the end of step 2. Make 5 x 10cm pancakes as in step 3. Allow to cool.
- In a bowl, mix the mascarpone, double cream and icing sugar to medium peaks.
- Once cooled, pour 1tsp Kahlua over each pancake and allow to soak in. Top each pancake with the cream mix and 1 tbsp grated dark chocolate.
- Layer up and serve.

If you want to make this pancake stack extra naughty swap 25g of the flour in the pancake mix to cocoa powder for chocolate pancakes!
