'Not a great pic of you but I look OK' David Beckham teases his sister Joanne Beckham with throwback snap for her birthday post
David Beckham sends sweet tribute to his sister but can't resist a bit of brotherly banter.
The former professional footballer has taken time out of his busy schedule to send beloved birthday wishes to his younger sister.
He uploaded a recent snap of the pair of them together on his Instastory and captioned it, 'Happy birthday sis. To an amazing person, sister, daughter and mother I’m so proud of you. I love you.'
But before David, 44, got too soppy, he reminded her in true sibling style, how annoying he could be.
He uploaded a throwback snap to him holding her as a baby and captioned it, 'Always got your back little sis – not a great pic of you but I look ok,' and added a cheeky laughter emoji.
David is no stranger to uploading throwback snaps - he uploaded this one of his siblings to celebrate his mum Sandra's birthday, with his youngest sister Joanne pictured in the middle and his eldest sister Lynne on the left, with a young David on the bottom right.
What has David Beckham been up to lately?
Clearly family has been on his mind of late - having just supported wife Victoria on the FROW of her London Fashion Week show with his children - sons Romeo, 17, Cruz, 14 and daughter Harper, eight. Meanwhile eldest son Brooklyn was missing from the event as he was over in the US.
But both David and Victoria's mum joined them for the fashion show as he posed for a picture with them and wife Victoria posted it to her Instagram page.

It's not known how Joanne planned to celebrate her birthday but in previous years David has dropped by her party.
And throughout the years Joanne has been supportive of David's ventures and his family, maintaining a close relationship.
Back in 2013, Victoria is said to have helped Joanne lose three stone by giving her diet tips and hiring her personal trainer.
