Olivia Newton-John has revealed that she doesn’t know how long she has to live.
The legendary Grease star has opened up about her life expectancy, revealing that she is battling breast cancer for the third time.
The 70-year-old was first diagnosed with the illness back in 1992, when she was only 43-year-old and later fought another battle with the common cancer more recently in 2013.
She then revealed last year that she was hit with the disease again in 2017 and at the time was undergoing treatment for it.
But now she has opened up on her future life expectancy, revealing that the sudden ‘possibility of a time limit’ is ‘scary’.
‘I’m so lucky that I’ve been through this three times and I’m still here,’ she said earlier this week to American news magazine 60 Minutes. ‘I’m living with it.’

‘When you’re given a cancer diagnosis or a scary illness diagnosis, you are suddenly given a possibility of a time limit,’ she continued.
‘The truth is, you could get hit by a truck tomorrow, you don’t know so every day is a gift, particularly now.
‘If you believe the statistics, you’re going to make them happen. If somebody tells you, ‘you have six months to live’, very possibly you will - because you believe that.’
The mum-of-one then opened up on her mental health, saying that she would prefer not to know how long her life will be.
She has recently joined the fight against cancer by raising money for cancer research, putting up for auction her iconic black leather jacket and trousers that she wore playing Sandy in the 1978 classic.
She also admitted to using cannabis to help manage her illness, saying: ‘When I broke my sacrum, I was on morphine because the pain was intense.
‘I was terrified of starting it because I know it’s a hard thing to ween off but I am now off it and I weened myself off it with cannabis.’
