Chrissy Teigen explains why son Miles needs to wear a helmet

    The American model, who welcomed her second baby back in the summer, took to Instagram to share a sweet photo of her seven-month-old son Miles in his newly-fitted helmet.

    Alongside the adorable photo of her embracing a headgear-adorned Miles, she explained that he was fitted for the helmet to correct a flat area in his head.

    ‘My baby bug got his head shaping helmet today!’ wrote Chrissy. ‘Please don’t feel bad for him if you see photos. He is a happy bug and we’re just fixing his flat!’

    Fans flooded the post with comments thanking the mum-of-two, who recently revealed a photo of her breast-pumping, for sharing the news of her son’s misshapen head and raising awareness of the common issue.

    ‘Thank you for raising awareness’, wrote one follower, ‘So common! He’s absolutely adorable in it’, wrote another.

    Chrissy, who is also mum to two-year-old Luna with her husband of five years singer John Legend, is well-known for her transparency when it comes to parenting.

    The 33-year-old recently opened up about her struggle with postpartum depression, saying that it lead onto further issues for her before she successfully got it under control.
