You might want to be sitting down (with a cup of tea at the ready) for this news, Jaffa Cakes fans, because frozen food giant Iceland have just launched one of the best deals ever to hit the supermarket shelves.
Iceland are now selling a mega box of 100 McVitie's Jaffa Cakes for just £4, both in store and online while stocks last. Working out at just £1 per 25 Jaffa Cakes, the amazing deal on these tasty treats works out at much better value than an average box of Jaffa Cakes which will set you back around £1 for 10.
This good news for Jaffa Cakes fans comes after the cakes became the latest brand to be affected by the trend of supermarket products shrinking while prices stay the same or in some cases, increase!
Last month, it was discovered that McVitie's had reduced the standard size of their boxes to contain just 10 cakes instead of 12, cutting the weight down to 122g from just under 147g. The price of regular boxes of Jaffa Cakes stayed the same however, angering fans of the orange filled, chocolate covered cake.
So, the announcement of Iceland's mega deal on Jaffa Cakes couldn't have come at a better time for fans of the tasty sponges.
After discovering the offer, shoppers took to social media to share their find with fellow fans of the product, and the news quickly spread, with images of the giant boxes shared on several bargain sites as one of the best finds of the year.
If you want to get your hands on this sweet deal, you better be quick. It's not clear if Iceland's offer is just for a limited time only, and while stocks last.
So if you want to bag 100 Jaffa Cakes for just £4, you better hurry!
