Every year when it comes to putting our Christmas decorations up we will always come across tangled up fairy lights, broken ornaments and cracked baubles.

And each December that goes by we promise ourselves that come January when it is time to put all of the decorations away we will take more care and keep them organised so we don’t have to go through the same chaos next year.

But of course as soon as January hits, we’re all too exhausted from eating and drinking our body weight in cheese, mince pies and Baileys that we can’t bear the thought of actually putting effort into anything. Plus any reminders of the festive season are a big no-no so we just sweep it all into a box as swiftly as possible, ready to be smashed up in the garage just in time for next year.

But now high street store Home Bargains have launched a specially designed bag to keep all your yuletide bits and pieces fully in tact for next Christmas.

The budget retailer has introduced their Seasons Greetings Decoration Storage Box, which is designed to hold up to 64 Christmas tree decorations.

It has individual sections for each bauble to keep each decoration protected and in tact, and zips up to keep them dust, dirt and bug-free.

The box also comes with a carry handle on each side so that it’s easy to transport around and it folds up flat when empty so that it’s convenient to store away.

‘Store your beloved and irreplaceable Christmas ornaments safely and securely in one convenient place with this fantastic storage box,’ they wrote on their Instagram page.

‘With four layers, you can safely store up to 64 decorations, while the side handles makes quick work of locating and retrieving them.’

You can get hold of the handy piece of storage in stores across the country or on the retailer’s website and the best part? It’s available for only £3.99 so you could even get a couple to keep everything super organised.
