Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are currently expecting their first child, and there's one royal rule they will have to follow when it comes to their baby's name.
The couple announced the lovely news that Meghan was pregnant on the first day of their royal tour of Oceania (opens in new tab), and it's expected they'll welcome their bundle of joy in spring.
When they finally have their baby and we know whether it's a baby boy or a baby girl (opens in new tab), royal fans will then eagerly await the baby name announcement.
But turns out that we'll have to wait some time to find out, like we did to find out Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis' baby names.
According to royal expert Victoria Arbiter, Meghan and Harry will have to wait until they've told the other members of the royal family what name they picked before they announce to the rest of the world.
This is part of royal protocol but there's another reason for it - the baby's name will go down in history, so it's important for the new parents to have a few days to adapt to the name and see if it's actually a good fit.
The royal expect told Town and Country: 'The reasoning is perhaps two fold. On one hand there's a desire to inform the families before a public declaration is made and any new parent appreciates having a little private time to get to know their new addition before the onslaught of announcements.
Meghan Markle already has a special present for her future baby daughter (opens in new tab)
'Royals, however, also have to consider the great responsibility in naming a new member of the family and I expect they want to be a hundred percent certain of their choice before announcing the name and sealing the baby’s place in history.'
And while Meghan's due date is still a good few months away, bookies already have a list of the favourite names (opens in new tab) that could be in the running for Harry and Meghan's firstborn.
Diana, Victoria, Alice and Alexandra are among the favourites for a baby girl, while Albert, Arthur and Philip are the current favourites if they have a boy.
Like Kate and Wills, the couple have chosen to keep the gender of their baby under wraps but Harry previously said he would love to have a girl... Fingers crossed, Harry!
