If you’re a Crème Egg lover, there are plenty of reasons to get excited right now. For one, you’ll soon be able to get your Crème Egg McFlurry (opens in new tab) fix, as the ever-popular ice cream sundae is set to return to McDonald’s next week, on Wednesday 20th March. Cadbury has also relaunched their White Crème Egg Hunt (opens in new tab) for the second year running. The confectionery giant has released 783 white Crème Eggs into circulation in shops across the UK.

If you’re lucky, you could pick one up at ASDA, Morrisons, Sainsbury’s, Co-op, Marks & Spencer or an independent store. And if you’re even luckier, unwrapping one could net you a £10,000 prize.

Eight eggs will get you the top prize, while others could still leave you £50, £100 or £1,000 better off.

The Cadbury Brothers first introduced filled chocolate eggs in 1923.

The iconic Easter treat was first named the Cadbury’s Crème Egg in 1971 and is still the best-selling item of confectionery in the UK between New Year’s Day and Easter. B
