Our Mars bar slice crispy cake takes the much loved chocolate crispy cake to the next level. With melted Mars bar in the crunchy, puffed rice cereal base as well as sliced on top, this treat is perfect for Mars bar lovers. The sweet and smooth chocolate and caramel flavours make these Mars bar crispy cake bars absolutely irresistible. They have a perfect balance of crunch and chew that will keep you going back for more! We used Coco Pops in our recipe, but you could use Rice Krispies if you prefer. A Mars bar slice crispy cake is a great recipe to make with kids. Grown ups can do the melting of the chocolate and chopping of the Mars bars, but kids can help out with the mixing and decorating. A fun day in the kitchen making these no bake treats together will make you enjoy the end results even more!

Method
- Put the olive oil spread and Mars bars into a non-stick pan and heat gently until melted, stirring to combine evenly. Pour in the Coco Pops and quickly stir to coat the cereal in the chocolatey mixture.
- Pour the chocolate and cereal mixture into the prepared tin and press down to level the surface. Put the chocolate and oil into a bowl, resting over a pan of simmering water and melt.
- Pour over the cocoa pop mixture and arrange the Mars bars on top. Chill for at least an hour, or until they are needed and slice into bars to serve. This will keep for up to 4 days – but good luck keeping them that long without eating them all!
