TV presenter Caroline Flack has posted an angry response to critics who have been pressuring her to have a baby.
The 39-year-old took to social media to express her frustration at the probing questions she has been asked by critics when it comes to starting a family.
During a venting video on her Instagram stories, the Love Island host branded the doubters ‘mean’ and ‘weird’ for pushing her to have children.
Het outburst started when she explained that she had just sent her French bulldog Ruby, whom she shares with on-off boyfriend Andrew Brady, to an obedience school for dogs.
‘I’ve just sent my puppy off to puppy school and it was really sad,’ she said.
‘I don’t have kids so I don’t know what it feels like but it felt like I was sending my child away. And she was wearing a really cute looking jumper, and yeah, it feels weird,’ she continued.
‘On that note, it’s my birthday tomorrow. It’s not a big one, but I’m getting older.
‘And a lot of people do say to me, like, “Oh, you should have kids by now.” Or “You should be doing this by now.”’
The TV presenter then went onto defend her right to live her life how she wants, saying: ‘I just think, why?
‘Why do we all have to do the same thing? It’s just weird. People are weird. They are. Saying anything mean to someone is just weird.’
This comes after rumours have been swirling as to whether her and former Apprentice star boyfriend Andrew Brady, who she split with in the summer after getting engaged to in April, are together or not.
The couple, who have been together since the start of this year, reportedly reconciled in September. However since then, Caroline hasn’t been seen with her sparkling engagement ring.
Let’s hope that Caroline can ignore all the negative energy and enjoy her birthday today. Many happy returns Ms Flack!
