Anneliese Giggins
Author, writer and Mum of three, Anneliese Giggins has been blogging and baking since 2011, and she knows a thing or two when it comes to cooking and baking with kids. Anneliese’s collection of recipes include some super easy meals and treats that the whole family will love making together including her very popular Weetabix cake. Anneliese is a great cook who loves a challenge and has taken on some bigguns, including how to feed a family of 4 on £20 a week, how to feed a family with no food waste and she’s even baked along with The Great British Bake Off. Anneliese' love for baking started at a very young age and over the years has helped her through the ups and downs of life. She throughly enjoyed baking through the 250 recipes within Mary Berry's 'Baking Bible,' a challenge she set myself. Anneliese then continued to create cooking challenges and kid friendly recipes for GoodtoKnow.co.uk. With three children ranging from 2 to 11 years baking has been one of the earliest skills she taught them. Anneliese believes that baking has so many positives for kids as not only is it fun but it also helps to teach early maths skills, hand-eye coordination and verbal skills as you talk through the recipe but, best of all, it gives children a huge sense of pride and satisfaction to create something delicious that they can share with loved ones.
