  • Michael Bublé and his wife Luisana Lopilato have thrown a Spiderman-themed birthday party for their four-year-old son Noah, nine months after he was diagnosed with cancer.

Luisana shared a photo with her 2.4 million followers of a party table decked out to the nines with Spiderman decorations. As well as a huge Spiderman poster and red and blue balloons, there were mounds of goodies, including web-coated biscuits and cupcakes and an enormous three-tier Spidey birthday cake.

There were even fake spider webs covering a New York cityscape.

The 30-year-old Argentinian mother-of-two wrote in the caption yesterday that the set up was ‘total genius’and joked that she ‘wanted more’.

Spiderman has been a favourite with little Noah for some time now – last year, for his third birthday, Noah and his family celebrated Spidey-style too. Dad Michael posted a photo on Instagram of the family of four with Spiderman face paint to celebrate the occasion.

The four-year-old, who was diagnosed with liver cancer in November 2016 when he was just three, certainly deserved a birthday party fit for the superhero that he is.

He went through four months of chemotherapy following the diagnosis, and during this time singer Michael and model Luisana put their careers on hold to stand by their son, while also looking after their one-year-old son Elias.

In February, the family released a statement on the official Michael Bublé Facebook page announcing that Noah was ‘progressing well’ through his cancer treatment. The couple thanked fans for all of their prayers and well wishes.

In June, Michael Bublé attended an awards ceremony in Canada, where he thanked everyone that has supported his family through this ’emotional and difficult time’.

Little Noah certainly deserved to celebrate his big day in style and we hope he had a brilliant time!
