Features Editor

Emily Stedman is the former Features Editor for GoodTo covering all things TV, entertainment, royal, lifestyle, health and wellbeing.

Harbouring an addiction (and unhealthy hoarding habit) for women’s magazines from a young age, Emily always knew a career in journalism was for her. This led to a Gold Standard NCTJ qualification in 2015 and a subsequent First Class Honours degree at the University of Sussex.

Following successful work placements at the BBC, Men’s Health magazine and the digital content studio for ELLE and Cosmopolitan, Emily landed her first role at HELLO! magazine in 2020. It was there that her obsession for the royals reached new heights and her specialist Mastermind subject was determined: The Duchess of Cambridge’s best looks 2015-present. Emily has continued to pursue her passion for royals and worked as a researcher for famed Diana biographer Andrew Morton on his book Meghan: A Hollywood Princess.

In her spare time, Emily can be found eating her way around London, swimming at her local Lido or curled up on the sofa binging the next best Netflix show. An avid traveller, she also enjoys planning future and often far-fetched trips abroad, having caught the travelling bug at 18 on her first around-the-world adventure.
